A new project called WordPress Remembers aims to memorialize community members who have passed away. It is a page on WordPress.org that allows people to reminisce and learn about the contributions of those who have made an impact on the WordPress community. The page is maintained by a small group of sponsored contributors who review requests to be listed. The project may also integrate the memorials with WordPress.org Profile pages in the future. The goal is to recognize and honor all contributors who have left their mark on WordPress.
