Overview
The WP Minute is an independent media publication supported in part by sponsors. Sponsorship allows us to continue producing free, high-quality content for the WordPress community. We are committed to being fully transparent about how sponsorships work and how they are kept separate from our editorial content.
How Sponsorship Works
Companies and individuals can sponsor The WP Minute through one of our published sponsorship tiers. In exchange for their support, sponsors receive visibility through designated placements in our podcast, newsletter, and website.
Sponsorship is a commercial arrangement. It is not editorial coverage.
Becoming a sponsor does not guarantee that a company, product, or service will be covered, reviewed, featured, or recommended in our editorial content. Sponsorship dollars fund the production of the publication — not its editorial conclusions.
Sponsorship Tiers
The WP Minute offers the following sponsorship tiers. Details and availability for each tier can be found on our [Sponsors page](/sponsors).
- Solo & Business Plan — Entry-level sponsorship providing foundational visibility across WP Minute properties.
- Foundation Plus Plan — Mid-tier sponsorship with expanded placements and increased audience reach.
- Pillar Plan — A prominent tier offering consistent, high-visibility sponsorship across multiple content formats.
- Cornerstone Plan — Our top-tier sponsorship, designed for companies that want deep, sustained presence within The WP Minute ecosystem.

Where Sponsor Placements Appear
Sponsor mentions and placements may appear in the following formats:
Podcast
Sponsor messages may appear before, during, or after podcast episodes in the form of host-read advertisements. These messages are clearly delivered as sponsored content. The content of sponsor reads is coordinated with the sponsor but does not reflect editorial endorsement.
Newsletter
Sponsor placements may appear within our newsletter as clearly labeled sponsor sections, distinct from editorial content.
Website
Sponsor logos, banners, or text placements may appear on the website in designated advertising areas. These placements are visually distinct from editorial content and labeled accordingly.
Social Media
Sponsored content shared through The WP Minute’s social media channels will be labeled with appropriate disclosures (e.g., #sponsored or “Sponsored by”).
Editorial Separation
Sponsorship at The WP Minute is strictly separated from editorial operations.
- Sponsors do not review, approve, or have advance access to editorial content.
- Sponsors do not influence what topics are covered, how stories are written, or the opinions expressed.
- Sponsor representatives are not consulted in editorial decision-making.
- Editorial staff do not report to or take direction from sponsors.
This separation is fundamental to the integrity of The WP Minute. We enforce it without exception.
No Paid Reviews or Sponsored Editorial
The WP Minute does not publish paid product reviews, paid editorial articles, or any other form of sponsored editorial content presented as independent journalism — unless it is explicitly and prominently labeled as sponsored content.
If a piece of content has been financially influenced by an outside party in any way, that relationship will be disclosed clearly at the top of the content before the reader encounters any claims or recommendations.
Sponsor Mentions in Editorial Content
If our editorial team chooses to cover, reference, or discuss a current or past sponsor in a news story, interview, or commentary piece, that sponsorship relationship will be disclosed within the content.
The existence of a sponsorship relationship does not make coverage more or less likely, nor does it affect how the coverage is framed.
