Mission
The WP Minute exists to inform and educate professionals in the WordPress ecosystem through news, interviews, tutorials, and commentary. We are an independent media publication dedicated to serving the WordPress community with accurate, timely, and trustworthy coverage.
Our goal is to be a reliable source for WordPress professionals — from freelancers and agency owners to developers and product builders — who depend on honest information to make decisions about their businesses and workflows.
Editorial Independence
The WP Minute maintains full editorial independence from all sponsors, advertisers, and commercial partners.
Our editorial decisions — including what topics we cover, how stories are framed, which products or companies we discuss, and what opinions we express — are made solely by our editorial team based on the value and relevance of the content to our audience.
Sponsors do not:
- Suggest, request, or approve story topics
- Review content before publication
- Influence the opinions or conclusions expressed in our coverage
- Receive preferential editorial treatment as a result of their sponsorship
A commercial relationship with The WP Minute does not increase or decrease the likelihood of editorial coverage, nor does it affect the nature of that coverage.
How Content Is Created
Content published on The WP Minute may include any of the following formats:
News & Reporting
We monitor the WordPress ecosystem for significant updates, product launches, community developments, and industry news. Stories are sourced from official announcements, public releases, community discussions, and direct outreach to companies or individuals involved.
Interviews
We speak with founders, developers, designers, and community leaders across the WordPress space. Guests are selected based on editorial relevance and audience interest, not commercial relationships.
Commentary & Opinion
Some content reflects the views and opinions of our hosts or contributors. Opinion content is clearly framed as such and does not represent objective reporting.
Tutorials & Educational Content
We produce practical, how-to content intended to help WordPress professionals improve their skills and workflows. Tutorials are selected based on audience need and relevance, not sponsor direction.
News Aggregation
We curate and summarize notable stories from across the WordPress community and broader web industry. When aggregating third-party content, we link to original sources and credit them appropriately.
Corrections Policy
We are committed to accuracy. If we publish incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information, we will:
- Correct the content as quickly as possible upon becoming aware of the error
- Clearly note the correction within the published piece, including what was changed and when
- Retract content entirely in cases where it cannot be accurately corrected
If you believe we have published an error, please contact us at [thewpminute.com/contact](https://thewpminute.com/contact). We take all correction requests seriously and will respond promptly.
Conflicts of Interest
We believe in full transparency when a potential conflict of interest exists.
If editorial content involves a current or past sponsor, advertiser, or affiliate partner, that relationship will be disclosed clearly within the content. This applies to podcast episodes, newsletter issues, blog posts, and any other published format.
Members of our editorial team will not cover topics in which they have a direct financial interest without disclosing that interest to our audience.
If you have a question or concern about a potential conflict of interest in our coverage, please reach out at [thewpminute.com/contact](https://thewpminute.com/contact).
Editorial Standards
We hold our content to the following standards:
- Accuracy: We verify information before publishing and rely on credible, primary sources where possible.
- Fairness: We aim to represent multiple perspectives on complex or contested topics.
- Transparency: We disclose commercial relationships, conflicts of interest, and the use of AI tools in our production process.
- Accountability: We correct errors, respond to feedback, and take responsibility for what we publish.
